Toddlers​

Toddlers are constantly learning! And ALWAYS on the go! It is Important to channel their energy in a positive way. Routine and transition are an important part of a toddlers emotional growth. Self-help skills are encouraged through daily routines and modeling of daily activities.
 
The classroom is divided into centers such as Reading, Dramatic Play, Sensory, Fine Motor and Art. The introduction of centers at this age allows the children to make choices and explore their creativity. This will also allow for the children to build social skills by developing friendships and working on their problem solving skills.
 
Children will continue to enhance their vocabulary and comprehension through music, books and conversations with caregivers and other children.
 
Outside time is provided daily (weather permitted) to allow for gross motor activities and exploring smells, sounds and sights.
